Ingredients:
pumpkin
1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons melted butter
salt
Lawry's
..any other seasons you can find!
3-6 beers
Preparation:
1. gut pumpkin
2. clean all the orange crap off the best you can (better open a beer for this)
3. Boil seeds in salt water for 20 mins or 1.5 beers
4. drain water and rinse seeds in cool water (not sure why, just felt right)
5. let seeds dry or dry with a paper towel (i didnt do either)
6. this is a good time to preheat the oven to 350
7. mix seeds in a bowl with the melted butter, salt and whatever seasons you like (i used lawrys and a popcorn seasoning i found in the cupboard)
8. dump seeds into cake pan(s) and spread into a single layer
9. put seeds into oven for 45 mins - stirring once
10. take the remaining beers and carve your favorite college football teams logo in the pumpkin
11. after 45mins or seeds a golden brown take them out of the oven and put them in your favorite tupperware container (air tight lid) and enjoy!
