A little info about KIK Camps: Local Des Moines-based after school and full week camps fulfill the mission and vision for My Own New Biz. During the camps, children learn how to create and market a retail product. This includes, using a spreadsheet, how to calculate the cost, retail price and profit of their product. By week’s end, the children sell their item door to door and to local businesses - dividing their week’s profits between themselves and a charity of their choice. |
